AUK DIY events

Please read this before entering. It'll save time for both you and me.

DIY events are AUK routes that you plan yourself. Decide on the distance, design a route with approximately one control every fifty kilometres or so ( but there must be a control at every 'corner'). Check carefully that the shortest distances between controls add up to at least the distance you nominated. It doesn't matter what route you actually ride so long as it isn't possible to ride less than the nominated distance. Further information is available on the AUK website. You can buy cards for Southwest and South Wales areas below. Before you ride, send an entry form (available on the AUK website) to me, Ian (address below) with a list of controls and the nominated distance. If you send an email well in advance I will endeavour to check your route, but it remains your responsibility to ensure your route meets the criteria. After you have ridden, send the completed card to me with all necessary proofs of passage and a suitable SAE.

You must be an AUK member to use the DIY system. Choose the quantity you require, pay via your Paypal account or with plastic, and I'll send your cards. Allow up to four weeks for delivery, though I'll always get them to you as soon as possible. Postage is included in the price.
